I wanted to bring to everyone’s attention a recently ended manga serialization called Shinsengumi Keppuroku (AKA Shinsengumi Blood Wind Record). This was a novel by Ryotaro Shiba that was adapted into a manga by Hideki Mori. Most of you who is familiar with Shinsengumi live drama will probably know of the Japanese TV dramas over the years most notable of which was the 1998 adaptation with Tetsuya Watari and Hiroaki Murakami (two favorites of mine). Well now the novel has been adapted to a manga. Though I don’t believe this is a complete adaptation as it ends in the Abura-no-koji purge.
